"I'm ready. This is a good opportunity." And he took a deep breath. "I never knew my parents," he said quickly, observing the moon's bright light shining down on the porch. The fire... he shuddered to himself, and hoped Danica didn't notice. "I lived with friends, family friends that took good care of me. I grew up during the Civil War, and it was hard. But I.. I..." he was suddenly silent, and looked away. "God, I never knew how difficult, how painful... it would be... to tell you.." he stuttered. "Her name... it was..... Katrina. Oh..." and he suddenly turned his whole body away from Danica, his head hanging low, low over his chest.

Danica nodded. She put her hand on his knee. "That was a long time ago. You'll be alright. I'm sure she's in a better place. Would you have rather her become like us or for her to pass on?" Danica asked quietly. The answer was obvious, any vampire could answer it.

"I don't know, actually," Will replied, very quietly, his head turned partially back toward Danica. "I wouldn't want her to have this fate, but I wish.. I wish..." he groaned, not wanting to say it aloud. "I wish I could be with her." He didn't want to hurt Danica in any way.

Danica nodded again. "I understand." She thought back to her mother. Oh, how she missed her. But she would never wish her to be this. To be a monster. Danica looked back down to her hands, her perfect hands. She sighed.

"Oh, Danica, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell you much. I really, truly didn't realize how hard it would be..." He swallowed hard. It was difficult for him to even dwell on the thought of Katrina these days. Everything he saw, heard, or experienced would all remind him of her.

Will stood up, leaning on the porch rail and looking upwards at the sky. He had a habit of staring at the stars; they calmed him. He could relate to them very well. From a distance, they looked calm and peaceful, but in reality they were exploding balls of fire; always changing. He looked back at Danica. "Have you always liked nighttime? I mean, since before you were changed? I have."

Danica shrugged. "I've never really thought of that. When I was still a human I was far too busy to ever think of myself, I suppose." She frowned. Danica stood up and looked up at the stars beside him. "They're so beautiful..."

ooc: Well... my sisters are downstairs at the moment killing each other... omg.

ANYWAY! So it all started with Danica playing a song on the piano. Will came up behind her and freaked her out. Then he kinda like saw his past play before his eyes and Danica asked what was wrong and he wouldn't tell her. But she knew something was wrong so to get his mind off of it, they went off hunting. So after some blood Will felt better. ;] Then, as they were hunting, they came across a group of giggling teenage girls. Well they had attacked another girl, who was laying on at their feet. Danica spooked them away and took care of the girl. They took her and left her outside of the hospital doors so they didn't have to deal with all that blood inside the hospital. (my sisters are so mellodramatic! GOSH! I thought I was bad. they're so... GIRLY!) Then they came home and were sitting on the swing outside of the house and Will finally told Danica a piece of his past. And that's about where we are up to this point.

On the first page Grace posted something about that other character (Vilangle or something. lol.) I suggest reading that post atleast.

Covered by the beautiful stars...that night meant something to Maze. This was the 7th anniversary of Leo's 'Death', of Maze's brother.
He stood in front of that old church on his dreams, it was close to 12am....and he just watched it glisten under the moonlight.....
With his hands on his pockets, Maze let out a loud sigh, watching his own breath on the cold air....His pale cheeks flushed red because of a chilling wind blew that came through him....
As if was a whisper coming from that wind, he heard....'Go away.....Go....'
His eyes went wide as he gave a step back, glancing around, wanting to know where it came from....
Maze.....Go...
